'Pilot Rock' is a microsize traditional cache hidden along the 'Bird to Gird' bike path along the Turnagain Arm.
Another one of those spots to sit a bit and enjoy the view. GZ is a bit off the main trail so you have a bit of privacy. Just to the west are a couple of covered picnic tables, a bbq, some interpretive signs and a place to relieve yourself!!!
The posted parking coordinates are the ones I use to access the trail. However, there are closer spots to park and pick up the trail to the east. One being at the Girdwood train station and the other would be at the strip mall at the turnoff to Girdwood.

Cache is placed in compliance with the Alaska State Park Permit no 21-KA-4267/2003.
