About Murray's Flat Station

The above photo was taken in 1888 and is the only image I have found of Murray's Flat Station. Unfortunately, whoever took the photo forgot to wind the film, so it has been double exposed with the tank, school, railway siding and children. Source of the photo - Darby Murray's Flats by Edith Medway 2016.
Murray's Flat Station opened in 1888. It was once a busy station used for transporting goods and crops from the local area. When the nearby school was closed, children would board the train everyday travelling to school in Goulburn or Towrang. The original station was burnt to the ground in September 1912. The replacement station closed on 22 March 1975 and was subsequently demolished.
At the posted co-ordinates on the railway line, you will see a yellow sign that has 3 sets of numbers.
We'll use the first set of numbers ABC.DEFkm to calculate the waypoints.

On the way to the posted co-ordinates, you will drive past what was once the Murray's Flat School (now private residence). From the Murray's Flat Road, there are also views of the restoration of the Wesleyan Methodist Church which had previously been demolished.
