This cache was originally placed as part of the 175th anniversary celebration for the town of Newfields.
It's near a historic cemetery known mostly to locals.
Easy parking on Summer Street . From there, walk the margin of the field to the cemetery sign.
On the way, look for the old house foundation.
While you're there please also enjoy the small park on the other side of Summer Street recently installed by the Newfields Garden Club.
The signs for this park are at the corner of Summer St. and rt 85.
