'Bones of Contention' is a micro sized traditional cache hidden along the 'Bird to Gird' bike path along the Turnagain Arm.
The cache location is at the top of the longest steepest hill on the 'Bird to Gird' bike path. Near GZ, there are couple of covered picnic tables, a bbq, a place to relieve yourself and an interpretive sign. I like stopping here to catch my breath and 'take a break' and look over the interpretive sign once again. It happens to be about one of my favorite things...Moose! LOL! Check it out!!!
Also just across the trail from the cache is a small waterfall that is a great photo opportunity!
This is a VERY simple hide. Look for the obvious geo beacon and the cache will be in hand shortly after finding it!
This cache is placed in compliance with the Alaska State Park Permit no 21-KA-4267/2003.
