Geocache Description:

Rather stupidly, I forgot to answer a request to check this cache, and it was archived, so this is the replacement. Still, I suppose it means you get a chance to log it again!

This is the first in what will hopefully become a series of caches celebrating Rickmansworth's musical connections - which is to say it'll get pretty tenuous pretty soon!

The first one is rock solid: Motorhead recorded one of the most iconic British rock songs, "Ace of Spades" - in Jackson Studios, Rickmansworth, in 1980.

Jackson Studios was on this corner. The site is now derelict. Apparently a local museum still has the bricks, so you never know!

Other artists who recorded at the studios include Dr. Feelgood, Eddie and the Hot Rods, Girlschool, UFO, Nick Lowe, The Pirates, Elton John and Ian Dury.

The nearest parking is a very short walk away.

Wheelchair users will need some help.

Micro - you will need a pen and maybe tweezers.
