Geocache Description:

Cache #6 on the BPRD Geocache Challenge

Welcome to Zonta Park!

This park, located along Memorial Highway just north of the Bismarck Municipal Ballpark, was dedicated in 1989. Zonta Park has a clubhouse-style playground with a roof and some counter space for investigating plants and bugs. Along the Play Trail, you’ll find a spider web climber, and benches provide a place to rest and enjoy the open green space. Educational signs highlight the prairie restoration happening onsite and teach visitors about all the pollinators visiting the park.

Bismarck Parks and Recreation District (BPRD) has partnered with the North Dakota Geocaching Association (NDGCA) and Bismarck-Mandan Area Geocachers to establish 12 geocaching sites within BPRD’s system of parks and trails.

To participate in the BPRD Geocache Challenge, take a passport from the container or get one in advance by printing it or picking it up from the park office during normal business hours. Match the hole punch to the coordinating number on the passport. Once you have found all 12 of the park caches, return to BPRD office at 400 E. Front Ave., Bismarck, to claim your prize!

Remember to place the container back exactly where you found it for the next visitor to enjoy!
