Geocache Description:

Cache #10 on the BPRD Geocache Challenge

Welcome to Jaycee Centennial Park!

This park has the Jaycee Leadership Hall, a reservable indoor community room used for all kinds of events that also serves as the ice skating warming house during the winter. Nearby is an outdoor shelter and playground. A small bridge in the park leads you to another playground and the AARP Outdoor Fitness Park organized by FitLot. FitLot had a goal of having an outdoor fitness location in each state, and Bismarck was chosen for the North Dakota location! You can’t help but want to run down the big hill (and run up it, too). Look for birds in the wooded areas on each side of the park.

Bismarck Parks and Recreation District (BPRD) has partnered with the North Dakota Geocaching Association (NDGCA) and Bismarck-Mandan Area Geocachers to establish 12 geocaching sites within BPRD’s system of parks and trails.

To participate in the BPRD Geocache Challenge, take a passport from the container or get one in advance by printing it or picking it up from the park office during normal business hours. Match the hole punch to the coordinating number on the passport. Once you have found all 12 of the park caches, return to BPRD office at 400 E. Front Ave., Bismarck, to claim your prize!

Remember to place the container back exactly where you found it for the next visitor to enjoy!
