The 12 Days of Cachemas (TDOC24) is a series of caches placed across Victoria to celebrate Cachemas in July in 2024. The series is a joint initiative of Geocaching Victoria and the local community to release caches in a different category each day across the state. We hope you have as much fun finding this series, as we all had placing them. A geocaching list of the full series is available at https://coord.info/BMDGW0P
On the eighth day of Cachemas, Signal gave to me,
new letters boxing,
big hides for finding,
some gadgets tricking,
hides in a rare LGA,
two quirky challenges,
one night hide,
two earthcaches,
and a wherigo up in a tree.
Santa and his Reindeer roam the world from east to west, following the setting sun. They're always on the lookout for landing zones like this rail trail - long, straight path in the direction of flight, no potholes in the path, and at the end of a 750 metre (or thereabouts) trip from the trailhead, a chimney to place the present under.
For Players who Prefer to Project, Proceed from the Parking zone Precisely 750 metres, Pointing on a bearing of 273.26 degrees.
