Il Gruppo Geocaching @ Roma è costituito da circa 50 geocacher dell'area metropolitana della Capitale e dintorni (Provincia di Roma), più o meno esperti. I membri del Gruppo si incontrano sistematicamente l'ultimo sabato di ogni mese, a rotazione in un quartiere romano o nei dintorni di Roma, per socializzare, mangiare e bere qualcosa insieme, condividere racconti e iniziative di geocaching. I Meeting sono organizzati a rotazione da un membro del Gruppo e sono aperti anche ad ospiti esterni al Gruppo stesso, provenienti da altre zone d'Italia o del Mondo e, che vogliano conoscere meglio la realtà romana del geocaching.
Per questo ottavo incontro, in occasione del Solstizio d’Estate, si organizzano due eventi, collegati tra loro, che si tengono al mare, nella fascia di territorio che va da Marina di San Nicola a Ladispoli centro. È possibile partecipare ad entrambi gli eventi e spostarsi dal Primo Evento al Secondo con una splendida passeggiata lungo la selvaggia spiaggia di Palo Laziale, lungo il tratto di mare che costeggia il Castello Odescalchi, rinfrescandosi nuotando nel mare, oppure in bicicletta, lungo il bellissimo percorso pedonale e ciclabile tematico (Caravaggio), che costeggia il retro del castello e l’Oasi WWF di Palo Laziale.
Molte cache si trovano lungo entrambi i percorsi.
Questo secondo evento si svolge nel pomeriggio dalle 16 alle 21 presso "Casa Troll", raggiungibile tramite GPS (TB Hotel GC5TVPZ), una villetta con giardino nel centro di Ladispoli.
Staremo insieme all'ombra della veranda o in giardino a parlare di geocaching.
Cibo e bevande possono essere ordinati e consegnati dalle pizzerie e pasticcerie vicine.

The Geocaching @ Rome Group is made up of around 50 geocachers from the metropolitan area of the capital and its surroundings (Province of Rome), more or less experienced. The members of the Group meet systematically on the last Saturday of each month, on rotation in a Roman neighborhood or in the areas araund of Rome, to socialize, eat and drink something together, share stories and geocaching initiatives. The Meetings are organized in rotation by a member of the Group and are also open to guests external to the Group itself, coming from other areas of Italy or the world and who want to learn more about the Roman reality of geocaching.
For this eighth meeting, on the occasion of the Summer Solstice, two events are organized, connected to each other, which will be held by the sea, in the strip of territory that goes from Marina di San Nicola to the center of Ladispoli. It is possible to participate in both events and move from the First Meeting to the Second with a splendid walk along the wild beach of Palo Laziale, along the stretch of sea that runs alongside the Odescalchi Castle, cooling off by swimming, or by bicycle, along the beautiful thematic pedestrian and cycle path (Caravaggio), which runs along the back of the Castle and "The Oasis WWF" of Palo Laziale.
Many Caches are located along both routes.
This second event takes place in the afternoon from 4pm at 9pm in "Casa Troll", reachable via GPS (TB Hotel GC5TVPZ), a villa with garden in the center of Ladispoli.
We will be together in the shade of the veranda or in the garden talking about geocaching.
Food and drinks can be ordered and delivered from nearby pizzerias and pastry shops.
