Some cachers do not like letterbox geocaches. I am not sure why. Maybe because they are different and maybe because you might not be sure how far you have to go or maybe they are afraid that they will get lost----- Okay, being lost would not be a good thing and I understand that concern. Below are two buddies of mine that will be with you the entire trip to this letterbox geocache. They will guide you to the logbook and there is no need to reason to not like this geocache. This letterbox will not turn into a "kettle of fish" which mean a mess. I looked it up.
Lizzy and Jaws became friends after they were each retreived by CCSquire from containment cells. These cells are sometimes called containers. Have you ever thought about what it must feel like inside a geocache? It can be safe, but sometimes they leak and smell. Anyway, CCSquire understood our plights and took us home with him. Lizzy is a lizard and Jaws, well he looks scary, but is just a shark out of water.
Lizzy and Jaws started their bike ride to the geocache at this sign. They had to be careful to keep away from the road here. The cars were wizzing by on their right side. Jaws joked that it was his Starboard side. Lizzy said that his left side looked, "portly". And laughter erupted.

After a short ride, Jaws noticed some flowers that were fully in bloom. He thought that maybe they would taste good. Both Lizzy and Jaws took a bite. CCSquire did not. They did not have much flavor, so instead of eating them, they decided to look close at how they were made. How do little seeds know how to grow something so pretty. They counted the pedals...one, two, three, four, five. I think that they got that right.

They continued on up the sidewalk. CCSquire drove the bike while Jaws and Lizzy hung on...

After passing some golfers, Lizzy noticed a sign about pets needing to be on leashes. Lizzy was wondering if CCSquire had leashes for each of them. "You are not pets." Said CCSquire. You are my friends. Friends do not need leashes. I trust that you will do the right thing and stay close. I reminded them that sometimes there are dogs on this path and dogs can get a bit too excited when they meet someone new. The three of them turned left off of the sidewalk and took the bike path with no leashes.

Soon the group came upon these posts in the middle of the trail. Lizzy and Jaws decided to balance on the posts. CCSquire just watched. He was not going to stand on them.

Back on the bike they went continuing down the path. Where is that geocache? Wait. Is that snow? It looks fluffy and like snow? It is not cold though. Hmmm. You could hide in this fluff.

Then came something scary. Something scarrer than Jaws. They had to cross the creek. OVER a BRIDGE! Can bridges fall down? Carefully Jaws and Lizzy slowly crossed the bridge while trying not to look down at the water. The water was moving fast. CCSquire understood Lizzy's concern, but was confused by Jaws fear. He asked Jaws why he was scared. Jaws answered, I almost drowned once and so he never wants to go in the water again. They made it across the bridge.

After a short ride, Lizzy and Jaws got off the bike again. They saw a sandbar. Now you might think that you could get a nice cold drink at a sandbar, but that is not the case, at least at this one. The three of them jumped on some rocks and made it to the sandbar.

"I want to go in the water.", said Lizzy. Jaws said, "No way.", but not as loud as I thought that he might say. The water did look gentle and it looked like you could touch the bottom and CCSquire knows how to swim and would save us if either did get in trouble.

So slowly Jaws got a little wet.
.
And then a lot wet. Soon Lizzy and Jaws wher swimming and swimming. CCSquire never needed to help. Jaws swam well, probably better than CCSquire.

When they were done, Lizzy wished that she had flop flops crossing the sand back to the bike. Jaws did not need flop flops for obvious reasons.
They rode back the bridge and this time looked over the edge.

"Yep, That's the water we were just playing in." They continued on the path which turned right and then left.
When they almost got to the top of the hill, they turned right into the grass near a big log on the ground.

They took the mowed grass path near a big log on the ground.

They followed the path here and very soon entered a woods where a fence was along the left and a hill down to the right.

Next Lizzy and Jaws looked closely to the right. They were very close to the letterbox according to CCSquire who is pretty good a geocaching. There where a few trees stuck together.

About 3' off the ground you could slightly see the geocache.

I am sure the owner wanted it hidden, but a littlle visible.

Lizzy and Jaws made the find, struggled to sign it for even more obvious reasons, but they had brought and ink pad to stamp their book. "It's a train!" Letterboxes are fun. They are certainly not a KETTLE of fish.
