Geocache Description:

The cache is located on 'Hermitage Way', Simpson Manor. The estate is built on the site of an old Army Barracks. Information about this can be found on the memorial stone on the field you will have passed if you came into the estate from the Newport Pagnell Road. The road names on the estate all have links to the Barracks. Why this one is called 'Hermiage Way' is unknown. It maybe has links to the Hermitage in Grafton Regis which was inhabited by a hermit who had travelled from St James' Abbey in Northampton to make it his home (12th Century).
