This cache is being placed for the 2024 summer reading program at the library. Our theme for the summer is outdoor adventures. Get into caching by finding these fun hides. Once you find and log all 3 library caches and an additional 3 caches of your choice around Rock Valley by August 17, 2024 come to the library to claim a prize. You do not need to participate in the Summer Reading Program to find and cache will continue to remain where it is after summer is over.
This cache should be easy to find, but a puzzle to access. Must figure out how to open to sign the log. Fun for kids with some swag to swap out.
Best to enter trail off Elmwood / Main St. Can drive up to the cement barriers, but then must walk on the new gravel trail. Also can park by the entrance to Winterfeld Pit's new boat ramp. Not ideal to park in the Pondside Cul-de-sac.
