Join me to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the War Memorial series.
Lancing War Memorial was first unveiled on 6th February 1921 and cost £150! I have attended many Remembrance Ceremonies here while a member of Girlguiding in Lancing. When Lancing Carriage Works Great War Memorial was demolished, all four of the 1914 - 1918 panels were relocated behind the main War Memorial. There are several well known Lancing names to be found here.
