This cache is near the location of the Wood Stage Station. The parking coordinates are at the Historical Marker pictured in the Gallery. The stage crossed the Cheyenne River near here at a natural crossing with a hard bottom. This land is private, so please do not go exploring for wheel ruts. The cache is an easy walk within the right of way designed to keep you out of traffic if there is any.
