氷川公園には中央に噴水とバラ園が整備され、ちょっと西洋庭園の趣があります。バラ園には四季咲きのバラも多く、一年を通して色とりどりの花を楽しむことができます。
この公園附近は、江戸時代前期、広島藩浅野家を本家とする浅野家の本・分家の屋敷があり、赤穂藩浅野内匠頭の屋敷もこの地域にありました。

Hikawa Park has a fountain in the center and a rose garden, giving it a bit of a Western garden feel. The rose garden has many roses that bloom in all four seasons, and visitors can enjoy colorful flowers throughout the year.
In the early Edo period (1603-1868), the area around this park was home to the main and branch residences of the Asano family of the Hiroshima Domain, and the residence of Asano Shokudo of the Ako Domain was also located in this area.
