Join us for the 93rd in-person meeting of the Frederick Puzzler's Corner, to do some brainstorming on whatever geocaching puzzle has you stumped. This event is open to all geocachers, no matter what your statistics show. Newbies and addicts, socialites and lone wolves, mark your calendar.
If you don't like puzzles, drop in anyway - there are always interesting conversations happening!

Bring your questions and whatever tools you might need for your puzzles, including notes, scratch paper, writing instrument, and/or laptop or tablet - free Wi-Fi is available. This is an unstructured gathering, and we continue to see successes at each meeting. Maybe you'll find inspiration to create your own puzzle cache, as well.
Field trips not included. But it's a great time to plan them!
UFOs - unidentified flying objects - is a term coined by U.S. Air Force officer Edward Ruppelt in 1952 while he was involved with Project Blue Book, a formal government project that studied UFOs. While UFOs have been noted for centuries, most of us haven't paid much attention to them until the 20th century, when a 1947 crash landing incident in Roswell, New Mexico caught the world's attention (did that really happen?). It is commonly referred to as The Roswell Incident, and is still cloaked in mystery and obfuscation today. Even more attention to these flying objects came about because of the television series "The X-Files", which debuted in 1993; it's main character, Fox Mulder, had a poster in his office of a flying saucer, proclaiming "I Want To Believe". More recently, as governments and independent scientists investigate more reports of UFOs, the U.S. military started using a new term - UAP, or Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon. No matter how you identify them, it's a fascinating subject. Are they weather balloons, as our government would have us believe? Are they spy satellites from other countries? Or are they truly space-faring vehicles totally foreign to our solar system?
The truth is out there, somewhere...
