This simple multi-cache begins with a virtual stage at what was once the main village of Lynn Valley. The area was long ago called "Shaketown", due to the logging activities and lumber mills producing (among other things) cedar shakes and shingles. Nowadays it's just another suburban neighbourhood within North Vancouver, but this specific area (centered on Lynn Valley Road between Mountain Highway and 29th) is the commercial heart of Lynn Valley. Confusingly, this collective cluster of commerce has been called various names including Lynn Valley Centre, Lynn Valley Village, Lynn Valley Mall, Lynn Valley Shoppng Centre, and Westlynn Mall. If someone from North Vancouver talks about going to "Lynn Valley mall", they probably mean to this general shopping area, not any specific property or enterprise.
For solving this multi-cache you will want to seek out the property which contains the North Vancouver District Public Library and civic plaza, and locate the marquee sign for that property, which is next to the sidewalk and bus stop on Lynn Valley Road. It is a tall and fairly obvious sign, by western corner of the library, by a major bus stop and the plaza's north entrance. All the information you need for finding the final cache location can be gathered by looking at this sign or the metal manufacturer's name plate on the edge, and applying that information to the clues below:
AA = The sum of all digits in the listed street addresses, minus the number of V-shaped objects in the insignia at the top.
B = The number of commercial units listed in blue on the sign.
C = The last digit of the fax number on the manufacturer's plate.
D = The number of commercial units listed in green on the sign.
E = The number of commercial units listed in orange on the sign.
F = The number of units listed in pink on the sign.
G = The last digit of the "toll free" number on the manufacturer's plate (preceding the fax number).

Once you have all the clues, you can check if they are correct using the checksum (in the hint), then journey to the final location to find the cache. It is located upon a popular forested walking trail, on flat and easy terrain. The cache is a small but well-concealed box, containing a log sheet and possibly a writing implement.
