Join us as we delve into the exciting world of geocaching!
Geocaching is a modern day treasure hunt where participants use GPS coordinates to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, all around the world. But it's not just about finding hidden treasures; it's also about exploring new places, solving puzzles and connecting with nature and fellow adventurers.
Our experienced geocachers will talk about the basics of geocaching and share tips, tricks, and stories from their adventures to help you get started on your own journey. We will discuss the basics: cache types and sizes, ratings, locations, dos and don'ts, and much more. Afterwards there may be an opportunity to go out in the area and find some of the caches nearby, either alone or in teams. Please log a Will Attend, and we’ll see you there! Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
