This is the first in a series of caches that I have placed which mirrors a walk that I used to do with a friend of mine, Tigga, who is sadly no longer with us, and his two dogs. I will be adding to this series of 12, more caches on routes where we extended our walks or completely new routes. There are two short lengths of walks on public roads, initially approaching Cache 1 and at the end past cache 12 (this 50m stretch is particularly dangerous with traffic hurtling by), so please take care especially with geo-dogs and geo-kids.
There is a variety of caches, hopefully some will make you smile. You will need tweezers or something to remove logs.
The walk is around 4.5/5 miles in total, but you can do it in stages.
Previously you needed a litre of water to complete this cache - THIS IS NO LONGER THE CASE NO WATER REQUIRED. Some had pointed out that the water wasn't draining, and others that the log was wet.
YOU DO HOWEVER NEED A TOOL TO REMOVE THE LOG - some of you may carry one, but I have placed one within 5 metres of the cache location, hanging about a metre up. Please do not remove it from its current fixings. I have also changed the coords as one or two have pointed out that they are 15m out.
