Following on from our epic trip to Svalbard in 2023 (See Pengi in Svalbard - GCARK05) we paid a visit to my old home country to see family, friends, some fine pubs, my old houses and favourite sights. Another epic trip which started by hiring a car that wouldn't go backwards!! I only found out as I tried to reverse out of my brothers driveway. We started in Yorkshire (God's Own County) and travelled to Scotland, Wales and Milton Keynes (for a MEGA) before finally calling it a day and said goodbye to the traffic, very narrow roads and horrendous parking charges. No wonder I left 18 years ago.
