This will be the official final day of Spring. So if you have done any spring cleaning and might want to bring something for the raffle, feel free as we like to do giveaways at our meet and greets in Prescott. Bring trackables to swap, stories to share, and puzzles to ponder!
You are invited to join the community of Northern AZ geocachers at a lovely outdoor venue in the Prescott National Forest at Lynx Lake SOUTH shore (emphasis to let you know where we will be!) There is plenty of seating outdoors, but you might want to bring your own lawn chair to sit wherever you'd like. We plan to meet and greet from 9-10am at the central location under the ramadas near the shoreline.
There is quite a bit to do in the area before (be on the alert for a CITO cache GCAK0Y) and after the event (gates close at 8pm) as Lynx Lake Recreation area is a great place for hiking, geocaching, camping, boating, stand up paddle boarding, fishing, kayaking, Wednesday, there is no parking fee- so entrance is FREE to the south shore. There is ample parking. Beware of the direction you are driving, follow the signs as the warnings about "backing up can cause severe tire damage" is a real thing.
As a bonus, There is a new souvenir to commemorate the June solstice available June 19-21, 2024 that will be added to the geocaching profile of those who attend an event, find a geocache, and /or Adventure Lab location..
