Because of the change of rules, we have to declare it is a "Mystery cache", but it is a traditional - look for a simple small container in the cave.

Don't go too close to Devil's Farmhouse - because his deamons are protecting it - they might sting you... don't ignore this warning!

The Devil's Farmhouse

The Devil's Farmhouse, or Ir-Razzett tax-Xitan, is an 18th-century gem in Mellieħa, Malta. This historic site, officially known as Ir-Razzett Tax-Xjaten, promises a unique journey into the past.

Intriguing Origins

Built during the Knights of Malta era, it originally served as stables and a horse-riding school. Legend has it that the devil himself constructed the farmhouse, adding an eerie allure to its history.

Myth and Mystery

According to local legend, the devil built the farmhouse in a single day. The myth fuels curiosity and fascination, making it a must-visit site for history enthusiasts.

Historical Significance

This isolated farmhouse near Zamberat's Cave stands as a national monument. Protected as a Grade 1 National Monument, it preserves Malta's rich architectural heritage

 

Location

In the cave the cache is at a hight of 2 m. From there enjoy the view over the Devil’s Farmhouse.

Geocachers, respect the heritage and don’t go close to the Devil's Farmhouse. The stings of the deamons are very painful.

Be careful at all times and supervise children. Don’t go for the cache at night.
