The"WELCOME TO NC" cache was 1 of the first caches I found back when I started in 2010, it was not far from my residence in Cana ,just north of here. I noticed that the cache has been archived for some time now and decided that this is such a great spot ,it would be a shame not to place another one here for travelers and other locals to find.
The cache is a well camouflaged container near the picnic table area of the rest area.
I've loaded the container full of SWAG.The FTF prizes: Small sized geocache with log book and a pink paracord bracelet, both are tucked in the thermos handle.
