Harwich is comprised of seven villages: South Harwich, North Harwich, Harwich Port, Harwich Center, East Harwich, West Harwich and Pleasant Lake. Each village has its own charm, history and warm feeling of community. There multitude of things to do and see. From shopping, cranberry bogs to even gocarts. Harwich has over 21 beaches and Pond and accounts for 22 acres of the Lower Cape. It also has many stops for the Cape Cod Rail Trail.
The year-round population of Harwich is 13,440 and jump to around 37,000 in the summer. The year it was incorporated was 1694.
