Geocache Description:

Historian's Haven! Artifact Swap!

History is all around us, especially in the Tidewater area. The 7 cities hold history from the Founding Father's to military to everyday life. There are two sides to all historical events, sometimes it's easily agreed upon, and sometimes it's arguably more controversial. Let's get to know your history, whether is a small piece from family to a historical topic you are passionate about, let's connect.

Every artifact in Geocache is from 1970 and older. There are currently 6 topics, ranging from local history to military to other stuff. There will be no way to see the item, trade for the topic that interests you the most.

Rules:

Take an artifact, leave an artifact. Nothing in the cache is valued at more than $5. Please don't leave your most cherished possessions. Please don't TAKE an artifact without LEAVING an artifact. Please DO NOT take all artifacts, this is supposed to be fun for multiple people. If you leave an artifact with me, please make sure to write a couple sentences in the log so I understand your item. Please ensure you are sticking to the time frame of the items.

This is an opportunity for me learn and add some history from you into my collection as well.

Kid friendly! If you are geocaching with the kids, there will be little kid friendly items to trade too!

Let's have fun with this!

If you want to log without trading artifacts, please feel free to stop and log Geocache as well! Leave me a note. I'm very excited about this one fellow 'Cachers!
