On this date in 2006, we logged our first geocache find, just a half mile or so from home. We'd found a few the previous couple years with Trekkin's brother, but we thought it was kind of weird, so we never created an account. Well......things change and so do attitudes. Yes, it's still kind of weird, but we have chosen to embrace that weirdness loud and proud!
While 608 is indeed a craft brewery, it's family friendly and they do offer beverages for those who prefer to enjoy non-alcoholic drinks, though no purchase is necessary. Come join us as we celebrate 18 years of logging caches and share your stories. It would be especially fun to hear others' tales of how they got into this game and their first cache finds.
Yes, we even remembered a pen! And I still wear those sandals, but not when caching!
