MARY JANE'S LAST
DANCE
The title of this cache
references the title of a Tom Petty song off of his "Greatest Hits" album from
1993 which included the hit "Mary Jane's Last Dance. Now, why did I choose to
name this cache after a TP song you ask? Well, there's a story. It was
requested that since I am up in Bellingham frequently since I have a daughter
going to Western, I thought sure I could do that. So I scoped out a location
without any caches. When I looked to place the cache I found "another container"
within feet of where I was going to place this cache. The container was a
vitamin bottle. I thought great there's already a cache here likely puzzle or
multi-final. As any good cacher would do, I opened the bottle thinking I would
see and log and find out what cache its related to and sign the log. Except when
I opened it, and at first, I just saw what looked like a pencil but no log. Hmm, I
thought. But after closer inspection, I realized what I saw was NOT a pencil but
something that relates to the cache name. I will let you figure out what that
is. 😅
