Central Pier 7 provides ferry services between Central and Tsim Sha Tsui since November 2006. The pier together with the western part of Central Pier 8, is specifically design to re-create the "Star Ferry" icon previously situated on Edinburgh Place. Moved away 300 m approximately from the former site, the new pier adopts the historical heritage design of Star Ferry Pier in 1912. The resembled Clock Tower is now manoeuvred electronically. The top floor of the pier opens for the public to view the magnificent views of Victoria Harbour, however, it was temporarily closed.
The cache is now located in the staircase engaged to the top level. Visitors could see the Clock Tower and the Hong Kong Observation Wheel at the ground-zero.
