Geocache Description:

The Brandywine Sanitorium, which was founded in 1907, was an open-air tuberculosis sanitorium. By the end of that same year, the Sanitorium was not going to have enough money to get through the winter unless they could raise $300.  Dr. Joseph Wales, a physician at the Sanitorium, reached out to his cousin Emily P. Bissell for help.  Emily started the "Christmas Seals" program in Delaware, after hearing about a similar program in Denmark in where people attached a special stamp to their mail and the proceeds from the stamp would go to fight a disease.  After gaining publicity from a Philadelphia newspaper, Emily's Christmas Seals Program raised $3,000.  After Emily's death, the Brandywine Sanitorium was renamed the Emily P. Bissell Sanatorium. The name was changed to Emily P. Bissell Hospital in 1957.  This building most recently functioned as a nursing home; however, the doors were permanently shuttered in 2015.

The cache location will bring you to the parking lot of the Emily P. Bissell Hospital.  As you will see, the Hospital is quite literally shuttered and there is no trespassing in or around the building.  This should be an easy C&D and a nice little selfie opportunity for those who are fascinated by abandoned buildings.
