Kako je on rekao "Veličina reči nije u njenom značenju, nego u mom značenju".

Mokrin is the birth place of Miroslav Mika Antic, where he is grew up. Cache is located just in front of house where he spent his childhood. On the house is memorial plate about that. House is private property, it's not a museum or something like that!
He was born here, in Mokrin 1932. and died after a long illnes in Novi Sad 1986. One of his last wishes was that no one should give speech on his funeral. They just should read his "Immortal poem".
It's really difficult for anyone to write a worthy speech... Well, I can't write about him and his genius either, even if I had more space. As he said "The greatness of a word is not in its meaning, but in my meaning". I think that says it all...
Those of you who don't know about him, should at least google mentioned "Immortal poem". Unfortunate it is too long to put it here, and I haven't seen a good translation... After all, poetry is impossible to translate. But Mika was not only a poet, he was also an movie director, painter, philospoher... and in some periods he was also worked as sailor, a construction builder... just some plain jobs... He was one of us, born in this ordinary village...
