Today is National Jelly Bean Day, and in the interests of supporting this day it would be nice to share around some treats to show our support to this highly acclaimed day.
Some interesting facts about jelly beans:
Jelly beans are more popular around Easter time than any other time of the year even though they are available all year round. People fill Easter baskets with jelly beans because their shapes remind people of miniature Easter eggs. Since the 1930s, Easter has been a peak jelly bean season.
Every year, there are about 16 billion jelly beans produced just for Easter. If the small beans were laid end to end, they would circle the earth more than three times.
Even though the candy is small in size, it is big in flavor and it takes from 7 to 21 days just to make one of the small bean-shaped candy with a hard shell and a thick chewy gummy interior
There is no need to feel guilty when you eat jelly beans because each small jelly bean has only four calories and zero fat. In one serving of 35 beans, there are 130 calories and 37 grams of sugar. If you are concerned about the sugar, you can buy sugar-free jelly beans.

- We are in room 2 and our booking time is 6.30pm - 9.00pm. You are welcome to come and go during that time as you please.
- There is a booking prior to ours, in the same room, so no need to arrive any earlier than 6.15pm.
- There is now a key pad entry system that allows us into the room from the front door and the hallway doors.
- If the foyer doors are locked a code of 4226 and the green tick will get you in. Just press in the code and press the green tick button afterwards. If you still have issues please call me.
- The kitchenette is still available.
- PLEASE REMEMBER. The car park under the building closes at 8pm and is security locked, you will have a 30 minute buffer to get cars out.
