June 11, 2025 - New Info - Due to regular vandalism, players are now required to bring a sharpie or other marker to sign this cache. Pens may work but something more bold is recommended. No need to sign a paper log as the cache itself is now "the Log" - please sign close to "Jason". This should make sense when you reach the GZ.

ATTENTION:
Please read the following in order to stay safe and have a good experience.
1. TOTT - Tools of the Trade Strongly Recommended: You should absolutely wear boots and gloves and bring a flashlight. You will want these items regardless of whether it is day or night. There is structural debris. The ground may be un-even in places.
WATCH WHERE YOU ARE WALKING.
2. There are 2 parking lots nearby. One is free and the other is paid. They each approach the GZ from different directions. The free parking is only slightly further away.
3. The hike to the GZ should be completely on well-groomed trails. The final very short distance should also be on a slightly over-grown but obvious trail. There is very little bushwhacking.
4. The area around the GZ is filled with minor obstacles.
5. If you see a Heart - Do Not search in that area. There is Nothing there.
6. This cache is absolutely not recommended for pets or small children.
7. Finally, this one is REALLY not for the squeamish!
Consider yourself warned.

Nearly everyone is familiar with the most famous Zombie of all time, Jason Voorhees.
He has been stalking teenagers at Crystal Lake and other summer camps since the 70's with short excursions to Manhattan, Outer Space, and even Hell along the way.
If only those damned teenage councillors had not been fooling around and were paying attention on the day that Jason drowned...
You see, Jason is unstoppable. He ALWAYS comes back in one form or another. As a result of authorities not knowing how to deal with this supernatural phenomena, Jason is monitored by the same clandestine government agency also responsible for suppressing information about Dagon, Candyman, the Blob, and other mysterious threats. They have been baiting him into remaining at Camp Crystal Lake by sending a steady supply of fresh interns that are not working out very well for a "fun-filled" weekend away from the office. Of course, they never return.
However, it seems there haven't been enough new job applicants with the way things have been going lately so Jason has unexpectedly left his usual stomping grounds for another excursion.
He is believed to have walked right across the bottom of the St. Lawrence River into Canada and now be hiding somewhere in the Glengarry region.
Jason's appearance has changed many times over the years. Please review these pictures below to see if any of them look familiar and maybe you can help locate him before any more campers are harmed. It is up to all of us to keep our communities safe!
If you manage to locate where Jason is hiding-out, simply log the find on your gecaching app immediately and the authorities will take it from there.
Should you stumble across Jason himself, Do NOT attempt to apprehend him or even approach him. He is extremely dangerous!
Try to run if you can but Jason always manages to walk faster.
