Take a stroll up the Makino stream to find this cache. Admire the eels, birdlife, and farmland.
You'll need to walk in the water at times, so approach with caution after heavy rain. And wear your waterproof shoes.
cache is up the bank, so scrambling is required, but should be easy to spot. But be careful of the electric fence. Do not cross the fence into the farm, that's private property and you could get shocked.
Access to stream is via North St, through James Palmer reserve, or at Sherwill St W, as per trailhead way point.
