This geocache is not going to be found at the posted coordinates, but it could be a good place to start your journey anyway, as there is plenty of parking in the lot close by. To find the correct location, you're going to play a little game of Hotter and Colder, using a Wherigo cartridge.
A Wherigo geocache is of a special type initiated several years ago by Groundspeak that makes use of a special cartridge player available in many GPS units and phone apps, to play a cartridge downloaded from the Wherigo website. Reverse Wherigos can be played by entering three six-digit numbers into the
Reverse Wherigo cartridge by Waldmeister
. Then you can play a cartridge that, instead of telling you what direction to go, it will only tell you how far you are from the final spot. By moving around and tapping on the cartridge again and again, it will continually tell you your current distance from the target. Using this information, you can deduce how to move towards the final. There is no practical limit to the number of times you can tap to update your distance, and when you finally get quite close to the target you'll be given final coordinates.
There is also another common method used by many geocachers to more quickly solve reverse wherigos, but we think this one is set up for a fun game of Hotter and Colder in a safe place to play. We'll leave that for someone else to tell you if you don't already know another way to solve.
