The Viola Irvine Nature Preserve is a new green space area in Dysart. A two acre parcel once owned by Joeseph Dysart, local farmer, newspaper editor, state senator, and Iowa Lt. Governor for whom the town gets its name. New parks deserve new geocaches. With the permision of the Dysart City Council I have place a cache in the park. The cache will be easy to see but fun to get. Be sure to return the cache as it was. Please bring your own pen. The entrance to the park in on Sherman Street. There is a nice sign.
