Parking coordinates provided for a hide that should bring as smile to kids of almost any age. This is easy enough that you DO NOT need to ask staff to help locate it, most do not know where it is anyway.
You are looking for a rather large box that might be handicap accessible that has been secured in place above ground and out in the open. Depending on what programs are taking place at this establishment there should be plenty available parking spaces during this visit. Cache is accessible all hours year round although night caching could bring official investigators with flashing blue lights.
The nearby Kill Devil Hills Library with more than 37,000 books, magazines, videos, and DVDs opened its doors in February of 1990 on a portion of 322 acres, known locally as the Baum Tract, that Diane Baum St. Clair partially donated and sold at a fraction of its value on very generous terms. In addition to the library not far to the north you will find a senior center, a local chamber of commerce, and the town’s administration and water departments. A water plant is just south of where you will be standing and there are two public schools west. You cannot see it from this location, but if you want to get wet, the Atlantic Ocean isd about 1/2 mile east.

Using simple maps and clues she will guide you to Hidden Treasure boxes of wonderful prizes and take-home activities.
Depending on how much Muggle activity is taking place, this hide could be a Park & Grab since any observant Geocacher should spot this hiding place well in advance of reaching Ground Zero. Might be a stretch for very small children. Limited amount of room for trade items and Travel Bugs.
