The mountains to sea trail is a nature trail in North Carolina, stretching 1175 miles from the Great Smoky Mountains to the Outer Banks. Part of this trail runs through Guilford County and Linville Road in Oak Ridge. This cache is located on the first bridge you will come across when hiking the Linville Road section of the MST.
In the summer of 2024, my friend and I (Logannm12 and NickOnFire) hid a collection of geocaches with the goal of enjoying the outdoors and getting outside more. Our caches challenge people to get out and do something in nature, as each cache presents a fun and unique opportunity to experience what nature has to offer; not only in the summertime but anytime.
