Historic Highway 56 series
This cache is one in a series of caches along old hwy 56 between Calico Rock and Ash Flat. There will be several caches placed along this route at historical sites and landmarks.
Band Mill
We haven't been able to find much history on the town of Band Mill. There's a town limits sign on both sides, Band Mill Rd, and Band Mill Creek. We found that Band Mill had a post office listed from 1916-1921.
The name on this one is because Marcus (geo_wolf1) can never remember the name right lol. Every time we go through here it's Banner, Banning, Band Saw, Band Mill? Usually with the correct one coming last or not at all! So it has become a running joke with us. But we wanted to add one here with the hwy 56 series so here it is.
Cache is a almost nano sized tube on the Band Mill sign. There's plenty of room to park to stay off the road but even so please be cautious. We added a way point for parking but you should be able to see it.
