I ran across this bit of information. I thought it would make for a great meet and greet event.
From the Detroit Zoo's web site;
"Free for tri-county seniors and one adult guest
Senior citizens residing in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties are invited to enjoy a special day at the Detroit Zoo!
Tri-county seniors 62 and older and one adult guest receive free admission and parking — they do NOT need to buy tickets or make a reservation. All other guests, other than Detroit Zoo members, must purchase admission to the Zoo."
This will be a standing event. Afterwords you can visit the many nice attractions available inside the Detroit Zoo. You will be responsible for anything you may like to purchase.
