After many years of geocaching, this is our first hide! We picked this location because it is nestled in a beautiful neighborhood in our favorite city in Utah. Use caution as it is situated where traffic may pass close by.
Ogden is the oldest town in the state (fort Buenaventura in 1845) , and has a unique history. Along with the usual Mormon history, it also has railroad and military history. During prohibition, it is rumored that a network of tunnels were built by bootleggers to move alcohol from Union Station to local hotels, and along 25th street (known as "two-bit street). Ogden's reputation became so wild that (it is said) Al Capone said the lawless town of Ogden was too rough and wild for his liking!
