Today, I went 2 for 8 when I was looking for caches at Carkeek Park. 2 for 8! Most of them weren't even supposed to be hard!
And you know what, I'm sick of it all! I'm sick of looking for micros in the woods. I'm sick of searching for black bison tubes, stupidly suspended from tree branches, inexplicably invisible to the human eye even if they're in plain sight. I'm sick of searching for nano tubes, likely slumbering under piles of leaves and pine needles. Even though micros are the sacred size to urbanites like me, city dwellers have to get sick of them at some point. It's time I give you all a taste of your own medicine.
I love Ravenna Park. This has been my go-to for placing and finding Geocaches. Heck, this cache is going to be the fourth I've placed that has 'Ravenna' in its name. Who knew that a little town in Italy could have such a strong connection with my caching history. My last hide idea here didn't work out as well as I'd hoped, and I decided that it's time for a homecoming. The trails, the creek, the playground, the little league field, I'm taking all of these wonderful elements and conjuring a sour taste of it all in your mouth.
This is hidden in a less busy area of the park, not far off the main Ravenna trail. Hints might start being added a week or two after publication, unless the FTF is bold enough to come before then. Until then...
Congrats yet again to DM&K Cachers on FTF!
