青屋門は大坂城の非常口とも言うべき門で1620年頃創建。1945年8月大空襲で大破したが1970年に残材を用いて現状のものに復元した。青屋口は往時は算盤橋と称する引橋（引き入れ可能の橋）が架かっていたが今は土橋になっている。
Aoyamon Gate, which could be called the emergency exit of Osaka Castle, was built around 1620. It was heavily damaged in the air raids of August 1945, but was restored to its current state in 1970 using remaining materials. Aoyaguchi used to be spanned by a tow bridge (a bridge that could be pulled in) called Sorobanbashi, but is now an earthen bridge.
