English:
Garm is one of the most fearsome creatures in Norse mythology, known as the great hellhound that guards Helheim, the realm of the dead. Garm is often compared to Cerberus from Greek mythology and plays a crucial role in the mythological tales of the end of the world, known as Ragnarok.

Garm is described as a giant, terrifying dog with bloody jaws and a fearsome appearance. He resides at Gnipahellir, a cave at the entrance to Helheim, and his primary task is to guard the entrance and prevent the dead from leaving the realm. Garm is a loyal servant of Hel, the ruler of the underworld, and he is an unavoidable figure for the souls that must pass into the realm of the dead.

During Ragnarok, Garm plays a central role. According to prophecies, he will break free from his chains and participate in the final battle between the gods and the giants. He will fight against Tyr, the god of war, in an epic duel where both will kill each other. Garm's participation in Ragnarok symbolizes the destruction and chaos that will prevail during the end of the world.

Garm's significance in Norse mythology goes beyond his role as the guardian of the underworld. He represents the inevitable forces of death and destruction that are part of the cosmic cycle. His presence reminds us that even the mightiest gods and heroes cannot escape their fate, and that death is an unavoidable part of life.
