Loki is a complex and ambiguous figure in Norse mythology, known as a trickster and shape-shifter. He is the son of the giant Fárbauti and the goddess Laufey. Loki has the ability to change his form and gender and has fathered several notable creatures, including the wolf Fenrir, the Midgard Serpent, and the goddess Hel. Though he is sometimes an ally to the gods and resides in Asgard, he is also their enemy, and his actions lead to his eventual capture and punishment. Loki will break free during Ragnarok and fight against the gods in the final battle.
