This is my first hidden geocache. Initially, I wanted to reach the top of some mountain range, but the weather on that day was rather cloudy so I stopped at the second best place - near a hut where you can get some drinks (and maybe also some food). There are many cows around in warmer months so it's interesting to observe them. I wasn't sure if the hut was open so first I decided to hide the cache and then approach the hut. Overall, it's an easy 25-minute hike from the marked car park. The place is also a part of various longer hikes to different mountain tops (e.g.,Ojstrica, Tolsti vrh, Velika Zelenica, Dleskovec).
From the mountain on which the shepherd's hut stands, we have a beautiful view towards Rogatec, Lepenatka, Velika Planina and the surrounding mountains. Livestock is seen on the mountain during the summer months.
