The event is on an island in the Yarra River.
Swimming is prohibited in this section of the river, so you will need a watercraft to reach the event location.

Winter has come! It is a Herring winter too!
Paddle over to meet the winter & water loving folks of VIC in the middle of Yarra River.
Bring a hot drink with your water craft!
I will be bringing some preform tubes to giveaway for placing as caches.

- Shallow Waters - Herring Island Meander has sediment build up creating shallow waters around the Island, please proceed with caution or avoid entering if unfamiliar with the area.
- 8am to 11am - Victorian Sculling Association – Handicap Series Round 4 will be in progress.
