This geocache brings you to a special place, marked by a simple bench with the words "Luke was Here" painted on it. These benches are scattered around town, each one placed in a spot that held meaning for a young man named Luke.
Luke's journey was tragically cut short in a car accident just before his 25th birthday. To keep his memory alive, his father Bill crafted these benches and placed them in locations that Luke frequented. Each bench tells a part of Luke's story, a silent tribute to the places he loved and the life he lived.
Happy caching!
You are looking for a large container covered in multi-colored duct tape. Easy Park n Go for our first hide! Private shared driveway you can pull in but please stay to one side closest to the structure at the end of the driveway. No need to drive any further than the end next to the structure. This will allow cars to still enter and exit the driveway as needed! Can also park just past the mailboxes towards Rt. 137 in the grass. You won't need to go behind the structure. Thanks.
There is a prize in a bag just for the FTF.
