The SideTracked series of geocaches are fairly easy to find caches which can be found at or near train stations, ex-train stations or near miniature railways. The first SideTracked geocache was placed at Evesham, about 50km south of Birmingham in the UK, on the 10th August, 2007.

Mudgee Railway Station

To help celebrate this milestone, come along and join me and other fellow cachers at a very appropriate location.

Details as follows:

When: Saturday, 10th August, 2024

Time: 4.30pm to 5.00pm

Venue: Mudgee Railway Station, Inglis St, Mudgee

Parking: Outside the station.

Afterwards: If you would like to, please join me for a drink and dinner at the Federal Hotel opposite.

Unfortunately, there is no official Groundspeak souvenir available for attending a SideTracked Day event. However, attendance at this event will allow you to add two unique SideTracked Day badges to your Geocaching Profile similar to the ones below. Stay tuned for more details.

Please post a Will Attend so you will receive any announcements.

I'm really hoping you can make it to this event and help the community to celebrate this great series of geocaches.

Cheers,

Calypso62
