The 12 Days of Cachemas (TDOC24) is a series of caches placed across Victoria to celebrate Cachemas in July in 2024. The series is a joint initiative of Geocaching Victoria and the local community to release caches in a different category each day across the state. We hope you have as much fun finding this series, as we all had placing them. A geocaching list of the full series is available atĀ https://coord.info/BMDGW0P

While some Geocachers may find this challenge very easy, others may find it very hard to achieve. For some it may require long periods of dedication and perseverance. Please take this challenge in the fun spirit that it has been created with. This challenge has not been deliberately designed to exclude or discriminate against any Geocachers, but to create a sense of achievement when you reach certain goals.

This challenge is all about the Green and Red we all associate with Cachemas. To qualify you must find 200 Green(Traditional) and 100 Red(Event) caches. Only Traditional and event caches qualify(Excludes CITO, Mega etc). These do not all have to be all in the same year, qualifying caches can be found BEFORE or AFTER this challenge is published. Upon submitting this for publication, I had achieved this challenge. Check to see if you qualify by using the link below:
Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
