Walking through Westgate Series
Westgate is a beautiful neighborhood with lots of sidewalks and pocket parks. The bayou behind it is also one of the most full of wildflowers I've seen around these parts, so my runs often bring me here. Peak wildflower season is about March - May, at which point this place does get, unfortunately, mowed. Still beautiful on the off-season, I wanted to provide a short series through the neighborhood to be completed on a walk or bike ride through the neighborhood. The caches are also accessible as PNGs for a hot summer day.
#3: Wild Birthday Parties
We love visiting this park, and the gazebo has housed us during many a sudden summer rainstorm. This is a common birthday party central, so maybe it would be best to visit on not a Saturday in order to avoid Muggles. Or just be really stealthy, your choice.
